Tracy Lawrence began writing music when he was just four years old.  After growing up and attending college in Arkansas, Lawrence moved to Nashville where he began performing at local clubs, eventually catching his big break and being signed to Atlantic Records.  Since then, Lawrence has been one of country music’s highest selling artists, releasing nine records and continuing to tour across the US for over 20 years.  With 13 million albums sold, 18 number one songs on the Billboard Country chart, this ACM and CMA award winning artist is sure to make The Bluestone his next conquered audience!

Drew Baldridge

With a voice as rich as the mid-western soil he was raised on, Patoka, IL native, Drew Baldridge’s music reflects small town life while living large on the simple things. Drew’s music is the soundtrack to life, be if a rowdy Friday night or a peaceful Sunday morning. His songs and performances transport listeners to their favorite memories all while making new ones. He has shared the stage with artist’s such as Alabama, Phil Vassar, Montgomery Gentry, and Justin Moore to name a few.

DAVID ADAMS BYRNES

It’s in the 27-year-old’s genuine southern drawl, his natural gravitation toward a loud, rowdy honky-tonk stage – it’s in the unmistakable sincerity of his lyrics. With strong pride for his country and a loving devotion to his family, this good ole’ boy from The Natural State is just that – natural – and is poised to make a lasting impression on country music. Byrnes heard the call of Music City as a teenager and as the aspiring star’s work fruition arose on graduation day, Byrnes opened for one of the world’s honky-tonk masters, Hank Williams Jr., which inevitably mapped-out and fueled Byrnes’ journey to Nashville, Tennessee.

Soon after arriving, Byrnes’ talents landed him his first publishing/artist deal with Better AngelsMusic Group and led to the young star’s debut launch of his full-length album, Premium Country. The record’s flirtatious lead-off single, “Sweet Distraction” (Josh Thompson/Andi Zack), was released in late 2010 to select digital outlets and ranks as the highest charting debut indie single of 2010(Country Breakout Chart).

Fast-forward to 2015 and Byrnes’ devotion to his craft is as razor-sharp as ever. A staple of the JägerTour, he’s already opened for Chris Young, Mark Chesnutt, David Nail, Colt Ford, Justin Moore, DustinLynch, Outshyne and Thompson Square. This year’s WCOL Country Jam headliner is none other than country megastar Eric Church! Born and raised in North Carolina, Church began playing music at the age of 13 and performing at local bars and clubs around his hometown. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in business, Church and his then fiance separated, which sent Church to Nashville to pursue his career in country music.

After being signed on to Capital Records in 2006,  Church released his first album, Sinners like Me, which included his debut single and Top 20 hit, “How ‘Bout’ You”. In 2009, Church followed up his successful first album with his second, Carolina. After the release, Church broke into the Top 10 charts with songs, “Love Your Love the Most” and “Hell on a Heart”. With no hesitation, Church continued to climb the charts with new releases such as “Smoke a Little Smoke” in 2010 and ultimately scored his first number one hit with song, “Drink In My Hand”. Church has released 5 albums since his debut in 2006 with his latest titled, The Outsiders, in 2014. With multiple hits and awards including Album of The Year, Church has grown his fan base, dubbed the Church Choir, and sold out arenas all over the nation. The two- day festival will be hosted at the historic Legend Valley Concert Venue and Campground located on Buckeye Lake, just thirty minutes east of downtown Columbus. 2015 will mark the 3rd year that WCOL Country Jam has taken place at the venue. The festival is packed with a multitude of country music acts from classic country, southern rock country, and modern country artists.

The WCOL Country Jam is a country festival that has occurred annually for the last 10 years. In 2013, WCOL and Bluestone Promotions formed a partnership to bring the show to the Legend Valley Music Center, a historic venue located near Buckeye Lake in Thornville, Ohio. Previous years included performers Hank Williams Jr., Dierks Bentley, Gary Allan and Tim McGraw. The venue boasts acres of campgrounds and a large field with great views of the stage. Legend Valley Music Center has functioned as a music venue since the early 1970’s, but has undergone some name changes since that time. LVMC has hosted a multitude of artists including: The Charlie Daniels Band, The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Alabama, Journey, and Jimmy Buffett.

Somewhere in the midst of 10,000 towns, along a lonely highway between packing clubs in their native Texas years ago and more recently performing stadiums on one of country music’s hottest tours, the Eli Young Band became more than a band. They became a brotherhood. Camaraderie and creativity fused into an intoxicating cocktail that has propelled the talented foursome to the vanguard of contemporary country music.

With three No. 1 hits under their belt as well as a Grammy nomination and an Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year for their hit “Crazy Girl,” the Eli Young Band approached their second Republic Nashville album, 10,000 Towns, with a sense of confidence and purpose. “We were genuinely excited about making this new record,” says bassist Jon Jones. “People talk about the sophomore record being really tough to make and in a lot of ways this felt like our sophomore record even though it’s technically our fifth record as a band.”

“We learned over the progression of those records our strong points in the studio, and we were confident,” adds drummer Chris Thompson, “We knew what we wanted and how to get what we wanted.”
