Agoura Hills, CA (November 7, 2016) – Easyriders Events proudly announces the Easyriders 2017 Bike Show Tour’s last stop at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, located at 400 North High St. in Columbus, OH on February 11 & 12, 2017.
This two day show will be held on Saturday from 10:00a.m. until 7:00p.m. and Sunday from 10:00a.m. until 5:00p.m. All Tickets for the show will be sold at the door. All ages are welcome to this family-friendly event showcasing the newest innovations in custom motorcycle builds mixed with antique, old school and specialty builds.
The tour is the most anticipated custom motorcycle show circuit of its kind in the country, uniquely offering local “backyard” builders a forum to compete and show their works of motorized art side-by-side with some of the biggest names in the custom motorcycle world. Basic bike show competition entry is free of charge and all bikes are voted on by the attending public as well as judged by Editors of Easyriders, V-Twin and Road Iron magazines, who will be scouting for bikes and builders to feature.
Meet Jason Wilson, founder of the Douche LaRouche Chopper Club and Sacred Steel, featured on the Discovery Channel’s new TV series Sacred Steel Bikes. Jason’s unique choppers are a tribute to the old school custom bikes of the 1960’s and ’70’s. Come check out these ground-up custom creations that will be on display at the shows.

NTC Drift Trikes, one of the most popular features at the Easyriders Rodeo this past summer, will be onsite showing off one-of-a-kind trikes and demonstrating their drifting capabilities every hour.
As featured on America’s Got Talent, Country Music Television’s, Foxworthy’s Big Night Out and a laundry list of popular country music videos, the Purrfect Angelz will be showing off their choreographed dance performances live on the main stage and offering attendees photo opportunities. The founder of the Purrfect Angelz, Lisa Ligon, will be celebrating 15 years with Easyriders Events and has been named the master of ceremonies for the 2017 tour.
The bike show competition is open to the public, and it’s free to enter your motorcycle when you sign up for a basic 5’x10’ bike display space. Entries can be made all the way up until the day of show! Applications to enter YOUR bike in the competition can be found at www.easyridersevents.com.

For the eighth consecutive year, Columbus musicians will play all 215 officially released songs, in a single performance. Beginning with the album, Please Please Me at 12:30 PM, and ending with Abbey Road some time after midnight, The Marathon is currently, the only single performance of every Beatles song.

The Eighth Annual Beatles Marathon will take place at the Bluestone, on Saturday December 30. A 12 hour live performance of every Beatles album and every Beatles song in chronological order, The Beatles Marathon begins at 1 in the afternoon, with Please Please Me, and ends with Abbey Road some time around midnight. An assortment of 12 Columbus musicians will, once again, faithfully recreate all 214 official Beatles songs with an attention to detail. Attendees are encouraged to come and go as they please, and trace the evolution of the Beatles throughout the day. This is currently, the only publicized single performance of the entire Beatles catalog in the world. Created by Joe Peppercorn, and directed by Chris Bolognese and Peppercorn, the Beatles Marathon has grown to become a Columbus staple since its ramshackle inception at Andyman’s Treehouse in 2010.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
2017 has been a breakout year for the newcomer Detroit singer/songwriter, Quinn XCII. With his ability to seamlessly blur the lines between pop, electronic, hip-hop, and soul music, he has quickly paved his own lane with his unique sound.
An early mixtape release turned heads, but it was his debut EP Change of Scenery, released in 2015, that put Quinn XCII on the map, connecting with the blogosphere and snaring millions of online streams. His follow-up EP release, Bloom, cemented his ability to meld styles and write about more varied subject matter. Next it was his featured vocals on “Kings of Summer”, a collaboration with longtime friend and producer ayokay (with whom he also exclusively worked with on his first two EPs), that started to bring him to the mainstream. The song became the sleeper summer hit of 2016, reaching #1 on Spotify’s Global Viral Charts, #1 on HypeMachine, accumulating over 65 million plays on Spotify, and getting regular spins at Top 40 radio around the country.
Quinn XCII’s debut album The Story of Us, was released on September 15 via Columbia Records. The album debuted at #6 on iTunes’ Pop Chart and is led by his standout single “Straightjacket,” which was named SoundCloud’s “Song of the Month” and has accumulated more than 23 million streams on Spotify. After selling out his entire 28-city national headline tour this Fall in support of the album, he will kick off 2018 by touring the album throughout Europe and across North America again this Spring.

The Beatles Marathon is arguably the most ambitious musical feat attempted in Columbus each year, and it has also become a beloved community event. For Peppercorn, who’s now known more for the Beatles show than for his band the Whiles, the event isn’t some excuse to play a bunch of covers and make some money. It’s an essential, sacred part of his life.
