Tyler Farr’s a thinker, an observer of the human condition, a man in the middle of a surging testosterone country movement in today’s Nashville who insists on digging a little deeper, getting a little realer and owning how hard it can be. On Suffer In Peace, the son of a Garden City, Missouri farmer opens his veins and examines the pain that comes from being truly engaged with living.

From the wracked hangover of what you don’t see coming in love “Withdrawals,” the smoky acoustic “I Don’t Even Want This Beer” or the spare run-from-the-memories title track, the classically-trained vocalist knows that love isn’t just hard, it’s risky. Singer/songwriter RaeLynn released her Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville debut single “Love Triangle” to radio on August 1 to rave reviews. The heartbreaking and emotionally raw video was released exclusively to PEOPLE.com and CMT and is striking a visceral reaction at radio and with fans across the country.“There’s a lyric about having a little white suitcase,” says RaeLynn.
“I remember waiting on the front step for my dad, with a little white suitcase that had Minnie Mouse on it. Every part of that song is me. So many of us have lived this life. I loved writing the song with Nicolle Galyon and Jimmy Robbins and having their perspectives, too. We all come from our own love triangles, I guess you could say. I’m so proud of this song; it’s my favorite song I’ve ever written.”She will be joining labelmate Blake Shelton for his 2016 Tour Presented by Gildan® kicking off in his home state with a two-night stand in Oklahoma City, OK on Sept. 9-10.

Her gold-certified hit single, “God Made Girls” was nominated for a 2016 Radio Disney Music Award for Favorite Country Song and she also received her first ever Academy of Country Music Award nomination for New Female Vocalist of the Year in 2016.

“God Made Girls” was the highest charting debut single by a solo female that year upon its release (Billboard & Country Aircheck) and reached #7 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The music video has accumulated over 22 million views and earned her a pair of CMT Music Award nominations for Female Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year.

NASHVILLE, TN – (June 30, 2016) – With his heartfelt single “Holdin’ Her” impacting the sales and singles charts, singer-songwriter Chris Janson continues to add milestones to his career.

Last week he made a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame in downtown Nashville to get a personal tour of the ACM Gallery exhibit which contains an entire case filled with Janson items. Each piece of memorabilia played a part in his rise to stardom including boots worn since his early days when he first arrived in Nashville and played shows at Tootsie’s, a Bocephus T shirt, his signature Fender harmonica and a guitar he paid $25 for and calls “the best investment I ever made.” It’s a vintage Yamaha guitar signed by Merle Haggard that Janson wrote all of the songs for his debut album “Buy Me A Boat” on and every song he’s had recorded by other artists.

“Being part of this exhibit is a top three musical achievement of my career,” said Janson. “It’s right up there with playing on the Grand Ole Opry and having my songs played on country radio.”

Janson is also the latest celebrity face to don the walls of Nashville’s famed restaurant, the Palm. Janson’s caricature is featured amongst a variety of other musicians, actors, politicians, athletes, executives, regular customers and people of note, as well as classic cartoons. “I eat there a lot,” says Janson. “My go-to is the Power Lunch — Steak, onion strings and a wedge salad. Oh and cheesecake plain.”

In addition to his current single “Holdin” Her,” look for more Janson penned songs on the charts soon as Tim McGraw just announced his next single “That’s How I’ll Always Be” and earlier this year, LoCash’s single “I Love This Life.”

Love and TheftOriginally a trio that also included fellow singer-songwriter Brian Bandas, Love and Theft first galvanized fans in 2009 with the Top 10 hit “Runaway.” That breakthrough success set the stage for their debut album World Wide Open, which also produced the hit single “Dancing In Circles.” After a move from the Disney-affiliated Carolwood label to RCA, Stephen and Eric scored their first #1 single with “Angel Eyes,” which was featured on Love and Theft’s self-titled second album, along with the hits “Runnin’ Out of Air” and “If You Ever Get Lonely.”

The longtime partners agree that their potent musical chemistry is a reflection of their personal rapport. “The thing about us,” Eric asserts,” is that we really are best friends, and that’s helped to get us through the tougher times. At the same time, though, we’re different enough personality-wise that the combination works. Stephen’s naturally a more social person than I am, and I’m a little more introverted. He tends to see the best in every person and every situation, and I’m kind of the opposite. My songwriting’s different from his, and when we’re in the studio, his approach is different from mine. The way we play guitar is different. The way we arrange songs is different. But our differences come together to make something that each of us couldn’t do on his own.”

The pair’s second-nature chemistry led them both to agree that the occasion of their third album called for the bold musical statement that Whiskey On My Breath would ultimately become.

“In some ways, we’ve played it safe in the past, and I think we’re over that now,” Stephen observes. “It’s easy to fall into that when you’re working in the Nashville system and trying to please everybody. But eventually you come around and realize that you need to be true to yourself. I don’t mind that songs like ‘Whiskey On My Breath’ and ‘Everybody Drives Drunk’ may be a little controversial, because they’re honest, and I think that they’ll make people think about how they feel about life.”

“Those songs are both really personal for us,” Eric notes. “They show a side of us that’s legitimately us, and how we’ve grown up and matured in the time that we’ve been in this business. But there are plenty of songs on this album that are just good, fun songs, and that’s still a side of us too.”

Indeed, Whiskey On My Breath makes it apparent how far the duo—who’ve both become husbands and fathers in the six years since they began their recording career—have traveled, and demonstrates that they’re in for the long haul.

“We feel more strongly about this record than anything we’ve ever done,” Eric concludes. “Whatever happens, we’ve made a record that we both love and that we can both stand behind, and that’s a great feeling.”

At just 20 years old, singer-songwriter Tucker Beathard already exudes the confidence and swagger of an established artist. It’s probably because music is in his blood. He started playing drums and guitar in a band with his brothers at 10 years old and had an early immersion into songwriting via his dad, two-time BMI “Songwriter of the Year” Casey Beathard. It was Tucker’s rebellious attitude as a teenager that inspired the lyrics for the chart-topping hit “Homeboy” recorded by Eric Church. Not long after making the decision to forgo a baseball scholarship to focus on music, Beathard signed a publishing deal with Big Machine Music and a recording contract with DOT Records. Growing up in a family that excelled at both music and sports — his father is a hit songwriter; his brothers, star quarterbacks — Big Machine Label Group recording artist Tucker Beathard has an unrelenting competitive spirit: He wakes up every day trying to write the perfect song. For Tucker, a self-taught guitarist and drummer, there’s no such thing as “good enough.”   “I love anything with great melodies and I’m drawn to the little things,” Tucker says, rattling off his influences with an artist’s attention to detail. “When I listen to Led Zeppelin, I focus on John Bonham’s drums. Or Joe Walsh’s guitar licks in the Eagles. And Hank Williams Jr.’s ‘Family Tradition’ is as country songwriting as it gets.”  Tucker certainly knows something about family tradition, taking cues from dad Casey Beathard, who wrote Kenny Chesney’s “Don’t Blink” and Eric Church’s “Homeboy.” The latter, in fact, was inspired by Tucker, who admits to going through his own rebellious phase.  Giving up a college baseball scholarship to dive headlong into songwriting, Tucker came out better for his diverse experiences and documented those wild times in the wise-beyond-its-years “Momma and Jesus.” The track is one of many in contention for his debut album, being overseen by producer Angelo Petraglia (Kings Of Leon).   With a rhythmic way of playing guitar, influenced by his innate drumming ability, Tucker has created some of contemporary country music’s most progressive songs. “Rock On,” a song about regretting the girl that got away, is taut in its delivery, with clever turns of phrase. Likewise, “20-10 Tennessee,” a standout, uses a football game as metaphor for a relationship and “Better Than Me” puts a unique spin on an arena-ready breakup anthem, ultimately wishing the best for someone after parting ways.   “I’ve always been a huge fan of deep songs, and I’ve always liked poems,” he says. “I’m an introvert, but writing songs that go beneath the surface allows me the chance to open up a piece of myself.”   As does his engaging live show.  Having played with artists like Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert, Tucker regularly bares his soul in front of a crowd. Despite his reserved demeanor, the stage is where he is most free — it’s his canvas to paint an honest picture of who he is, as both a songwriter and an artist.   “Expressing yourself onstage and putting your emotion into each song is a feeling that is tough to match. It’s your way of letting the world know who you are,” says Tucker, who has one main goal when performing. “Whether it’s ‘My heart is broken’ or ‘Let’s party tonight,’ I want people to feel this is a real dude who knows who he is — and who says it like it is.”

On Thursday, August 15th, The Bluestone will proudly present Drake White and The Big Fire.

Drake White is a truly talented artist who has been gaining industry attention because of his energetic performances, honest, friendly demeanor, and serious songwriting skills. The Alabama native has toured with Willie Nelson on the Country Throwdown tour and opened for Eric Church, Kid Rock, Alan Jackson, Little Big Town, Aaron Lewis, Toby Keith, and others.

Following White’s performance opening for Toby Keith in Cleveland, and shortly after his debut performance at The Grand Ole Opry, the Bluestone staff was lucky enough to sit down and have a conversation about his music, and why he looks forward to being in Columbus next week! We are genuinely excited to host this talented singer/songwriter at “The Other Church” of Country Music.

Bluestone:

Great set opening for Toby Keith! We are so excited for your headlining performance at The Bluestone! You have performed at The Bluestone before—you have opened for David Nail and Blackberry Smoke. How was your experience playing at this venue in the past?

Drake White:

It’s such a great venue. We love going out to places that hold a little bit of magic to them, you know, it’s an old church and I grew singing in church, and the soul and the gospel that we sing in our type of music–it’s just very cool to sing in a place like that because there’s a spirit there. There’s that magic.

Bluestone:

I’d like to ask about your style of performance: It’s very energetic, there’s a lot of crowd-involvement, and you and your band seem to be having a genuinely good time performing on stage. That is very refreshing to see–such a positive presence on stage. Could you speak a little bit about your performance style?

Drake White:

I think that when you wake up in the morning, you have a choice whether to be happy or sad…your attitude is your choice. My band and I are best friends, and we feed off of each other’s energy—we’re blessed to be doing this. I’ve worked 9-5 jobs, I’ve worked really hard doing other things, and this is what I have been put on this earth to do, and I appreciate it every day. The performance comes from genuine appreciation of being able to do this.

Bluestone:

Speaking of your band dynamic, how did you all meet?

Drake White:

It was always my dream to move to Nashville, but my dream was not to be a “solo guy”, it was to form a band and have a camaraderie of brothers around me. So, that’s what I set out to do. We met through Nashville. The drummer (Adam Schwind) is from Texas, the bass player (Philip Pence) is from Gainsville Georgia, the Fiddle Player (Samuel Damewood) is from Knoxville, Tenn, and the guitar player (Chris Condon) is from Jupiter, Florida. It’s just meant to be for us. I got a great group of guys and they made my dreams come true as far as finding that band I always wanted.

The Bluestone:

It’s so cool that you all come from different places and are able to create a unique blend of sounds from a variety of genres. I can hear blues, rock, country, folk, and bluegrass influences in your music. How would you describe your influences?

Drake White:

I grew up in a small town in a musical family where they introduced me to rock n roll, country, soul, blues…all kinds of influences. I love country music I LOVE IT, it’s definitely my favorite type of music, but I like everything. I never set out to be necessarily a country music artist, I just write songs and whatever comes out is what it is. Growing up in Northeast Alabama, the Appalachian mountains fall down in the top half of that state where there’s a lot of Appalachian bluegrass influence, and then there’s a lot of funk and soul that comes from the Motown area of Muscle Shoals. I also grew up around a lot around 90’s country, so I’m influenced by that as well. I literally am a fan of MUSIC; I like it all.

The Bluestone:

We love your single, “The Simple Life,” and tonight you played another great song: “Fifty Years Too Late.” What inspired you to write “Fifty Years Too Late?”

Drake White:

My grandfather was a southern Baptist preacher. He was a great hunter and fisherman and he taught me to do the same, and to appreciate the spirit of nature. “You were born fifty years too late,” was something he said to me at a very young age. He died when I was 15, but those words stuck with me, and my buddy, Leith Laughton from Mississippi co-wrote that song, and he’s an old soul as well. The song was just supposed to happen. We didn’t try to write that song, the song wrote us.

Well, we can’t wait to hear that one, and the rest of your set, live at The Bluestone on August 15th!

Drake White:

We’re really looking forward to getting in that place and it being our show. We owe a lot to  Blackberry Smoke and David Nail–those guys really introduced us to Columbus and having a great time there. We can’t wait to go back and play at The Bluestone. We’ve got a lot of fans that have become friends, who we now know by name, and look forward to hanging out with!
