New Year’s Eve is a time to reflect on the past year and look forward to the year ahead…and also to PARTY ALL NIGHT! Were you lucky enough to see Blackjack Billy open for Love and Theft at The Bluestone on November 20th? They brought the house down, so they’re coming back to do it again! The Southern rock group is comprised of Rob Blackledge (vocals, guitar), Noll Billings (vocals), Jeff Coplan (electric guitar). Patrick Cornell (bass guitar) and Brad Cummings (drums). Self-described as “Redneck Rock,” these guys are known for their party anthems such as “The Booze Cruise,” “Drinkalong,” and their newest single “Get Some.” The song “Booze Cruise” was a Taste of Country Critic’s Pick this summer, with the reviewer noting the following: “[C]ever lyrics and a melody that grabs your attention like that hottie oiling up with sunblock, make this an easy song to finish before you realize you’ve begun.” Attention-grabbing it is! The band gets crowds out of their seats and onto the dance floor with their energetic live performances and electric personalities.
