CMA and Grammy award-winning country band, The Charlie Daniels Band, will perform live at The Bluestone on Thursday, April 30th, 2015. Charlie Daniels, born and raised in North Carolina, began playing the fiddle and guitar in several bands throughout his young adult life. At the age of 21 he decided to pursue a professional career in music. Daniels assembled his first rock and roll group named, The Jaguars. There was very little success with The Jaguars but Daniels continued to write songs including, One of “It Hurts Me”, which was recorded by Elvis Presley in 1963. In the late 60’s Daniels opted out of The Jaguars and after much practice, became one of the best fiddlers in Nashville, TN. He would focus his fiddle playing on the current day hits, including a lot of top songs from Bob Dylan, his popularity soared.
Mid 70’s was the year for his new band, The Charlie Daniels Band. After a run with the Southern Rock style, Charlie then decided to lean more towards a country music band, ultimately it was a career changing choice. Shortly after this decision, the single, “The Devil Went Down to Georgia”, was released. It went straight to the number one spot and crossed over on to the pop charts at a number three spot. This song was named the Country Music Association’s Single of the Year. After this hit was released, their next album, Million Mile Reflections, became a multi-platinum success.

Candlebox is an American rock band from Seattle, Washington. Since its formation in 1990, the group has released six studio albums, which have achieved multi-platinum and gold certification, as well as numerous charting singles, a compilation, and a CD+DVD.
Candlebox was the first successful act on Maverick Records, which went on to sign Alanis Morissette, Deftones and The Prodigy. They found immediate success with the release of their self-titled debut album in July 1993. It featured the band’s biggest hit songs, “Far Behind” and “You“, and was certified platinum by the RIAA four times.[5] Their next two albums, Lucy and Happy Pills, also sold well. After troubles with Maverick, Candlebox broke up in 2000 after an alleged attempt to be freed from their contract. The band reunited in 2006, and two years later, they released their fourth album Into the Sun, followed by an extensive tour. Their latest album, Disappearing in Airports was released April 22, 2016.
The band has toured or played selected shows with such bands as Living Colour, The Flaming Lips, Our Lady Peace, Rush, Henry Rollins, Aerosmith, Godsmack, Metallica, Radiohead, The Offspring, Sponge, Seaweed, Hinder, Suicidal Tendencies and Danzig.[6][7] They were also a featured band on the main-stage at Woodstock ’94 and made repeat live performances on Late Show with David Letterman.
“Following the recent news that multi-award-winning country star Lauren Alaina is a contender on this season’s “Dancing with the Stars,” the platinum-selling singer’s That Girl Was Me Tour scheduled for this fall is shifting to a January start date. The That Girl Was Me Tour originally scheduled at The Bluestone on October 3rd 2019 is being rescheduled to February 1st 2020. ” If you have already purchased tickets, those tickets will be valid for the new date.

Georgia native Lauren Alaina captured America’s hearts when she competed on Season 10 of American Idol. Singer-guitarist Jaren Johnston, drummer Neil Mason and lap-steel player Kelby Ray have known one another since they were teens and have been sharing stages together for nearly 15 years. This summer, they’ll headline their hometown’s most famous venue, the Ryman Auditorium, just a few blocks from where Johnston and Ray sat in high-school math class daydreaming about one day playing the legendary hall. Johnston’s connection to the Ryman goes back even further: his father has been a drummer at the Grand Ole Opry since Jaren was a child. And now he has a son of his own, who, like his old man, will be well-versed in all the sounds that make up both Music City and The Cadillac Three, from country and blues to rock & roll.
So, yeah, “legacy” looks good on this band.

- PARKING IS AVAILABLE ALL AROUND THE VENUE. OUR PARKING IS BEING USED FOR THE SHOW BUT MANY LOTS WILL BE OPEN AROUND US.
- THE ENTRANCE TO THE SHOW IS ON THE WEST SIDE OF OUR LOT. PLEASE REVIEW THE MAP.
- ALL patrons must have a valid ticket to enter. We only guarantee tickets bought through our Eventbrite site. Tickets bought through 3rd party sites are not guaranteed.
- All patrons must receive a WRISTBAND to enter and stay on the grounds. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR WRISTBAND.
- Veterans and first responders that wish to view the concert from the VIP area must receive a VIP wristband when they enter. A valid I.D. will be required to show proof of service. We value our veterans and ask that the space is used for them and them only.
- All patrons that purchase alcohol must have a valid I.D. no exception
- Credit cards and debit cards will be accepted. NO ATM will be on site
- Lawn chairs are allowed but will be searched. Please remove them from any coverings when entering.
- The show is rain or shine and will only be stopped if lightning is close. If the show is stopped, We will make every effort to resume the show.
- The Bluestone will be open to all that have a wristband. We will have tables and chairs to relax and cool off! You are welcome to purchase alcoholic drinks inside the Bluestone and bring them to the concert area. Miller Lite, Coors Light, and Truly canned drinks will be available in the concert area. - Our show is a general admission standing room only EVENT, which means that there is no assigned seating if there’s seating at all.. If you require ADA-accessible seating for our show, a member of our Guest Services staff can help accommodate your needs when you arrive.
- Can I bring a camera, video camera, or recording device?
The camera policy is set by the artist. Generally, the rule is that no professional cameras or recording devices of any kind are allowed. Many artists will allow you to bring a disposable or small digital camera. If you have a question about the camera policy for the show, please contact us. - Does my child need a ticket to get in?
Yes. Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket unless otherwise posted. - What time is the show?
The time listed on your ticket is the time that the doors will open for the show. Live music will usually start about an hour after the doors open, but that’s always subject to change. Also, we don’t usually know the set times, that’s up to the bands to decide.

Aaron Lewis grew up in Springfield, Vermont, listening to his grandparents’ country 8-tracks. With a decade invested in a genre that’s seen him record with George Jones, Charlie Daniels, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, Mickey Raphael, the Cox Family, Ben Haggard, Dan Tyminski, and producer Buddy Cannon, he has claimed two #1 Billboard Country Album debuts for his albums Town Line and Sinner.
