Tracy Lawrence began writing music when he was just four years old.  After growing up and attending college in Arkansas, Lawrence moved to Nashville where he began performing at local clubs, eventually catching his big break and being signed to Atlantic Records.  Since then, Lawrence has been one of country music’s highest selling artists, releasing nine records and continuing to tour across the US for over 20 years.  With 13 million albums sold, 18 number one songs on the Billboard Country chart, this ACM and CMA award winning artist is sure to make The Bluestone his next conquered audience!

Drew Baldridge

With a voice as rich as the mid-western soil he was raised on, Patoka, IL native, Drew Baldridge’s music reflects small town life while living large on the simple things. Drew’s music is the soundtrack to life, be if a rowdy Friday night or a peaceful Sunday morning. His songs and performances transport listeners to their favorite memories all while making new ones. He has shared the stage with artist’s such as Alabama, Phil Vassar, Montgomery Gentry, and Justin Moore to name a few.

DAVID ADAMS BYRNES

“ Sherwood, Arkansas native David Adam Byrnes is rooted in the kind of tradition that audiences can’t deny. It’s in the 27-year-old’s genuine southern drawl, his natural gravitation toward a loud, rowdy honky-tonk stage – it’s in the unmistakable sincerity of his lyrics. With strong pride for his country and a loving devotion to his family, this good ole’ boy from The Natural State is just that – natural – and is poised to make a lasting impression on country music. Byrnes heard the call of Music City as a teenager and as the aspiring star’s work fruition arose on graduation day, Byrnes opened for one of the world’s honky-tonk masters, Hank Williams Jr., which inevitably mapped-out and fueled Byrnes’ journey to Nashville, Tennessee.

Soon after arriving, Byrnes’ talents landed him his first publishing/artist deal with Better AngelsMusic Group and led to the young star’s debut launch of his full-length album, Premium Country. Fast-forward to 2015 and Byrnes’ devotion to his craft is as razor-sharp as ever. A staple of the JägerTour, he’s already opened for Chris Young, Mark Chesnutt, David Nail, Colt Ford, Justin Moore, DustinLynch, Outshyne and Thompson Square. Working hand in hand with manager Billy Holland, and some of Nashville’s finest songwriting talent.

Another WCOL Country Jam artist that is sure to impress attendees is Aaron Lewis. Raised in Massachusetts, Lewis is a founding member of the rock band Staind, collectively selling over fifteen million albums and with whom he still tours and records music with. Having performed music alone, even when in a band, Lewis began recording country music in 2010, with his first EP, Town Line, being released the following year. In 2012, he released his first full-length solo album, The Road, which featured the hit single “Grandaddy’s Gun”. Known for his passionate vocal delivery and poignant songwriting, Aaron Lewis will undoubtedly be a highlight of the festival. The two- day festival will be hosted at the historic Legend Valley Concert Venue and Campground located on Buckeye Lake, just thirty minutes east of downtown Columbus. 2015 will mark the 3rd year that WCOL Country Jam has taken place at the venue. The festival is packed with a multitude of country music acts from classic country, southern rock country, and modern country artists.

The two- day festival will be hosted at the historic Legend Valley Concert Venue and Campground located on Buckeye Lake, just thirty minutes east of downtown Columbus. 2015 will mark the 3rd year that WCOL Country Jam has taken place at the venue. The WCOL Country Jam is a country festival that has occurred annually for the last 10 years. In 2013, WCOL and Bluestone Promotions formed a partnership to bring the show to the Legend Valley Music Center, a historic venue located near Buckeye Lake in Thornville, Ohio. Previous years included performers Hank Williams Jr., Dierks Bentley, Gary Allan and Tim McGraw. The venue boasts acres of campgrounds and a large field with great views of the stage. Legend Valley Music Center has functioned as a music venue since the early 1970’s, but has undergone some name changes since that time. LVMC has hosted a multitude of artists including: The Charlie Daniels Band, The Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Alabama, Journey, and Jimmy Buffett.

Somewhere in the midst of 10,000 towns, along a lonely highway between packing clubs in their native Texas years ago and more recently performing stadiums on one of country music’s hottest tours, the Eli Young Band became more than a band. They became a brotherhood. Camaraderie and creativity fused into an intoxicating cocktail that has propelled the talented foursome to the vanguard of contemporary country music.

With three No. 1 hits under their belt as well as a Grammy nomination and an Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year for their hit “Crazy Girl,” the Eli Young Band approached their second Republic Nashville album, 10,000 Towns, with a sense of confidence and purpose. “We were genuinely excited about making this new record,” says bassist Jon Jones. “People talk about the sophomore record being really tough to make and in a lot of ways this felt like our sophomore record even though it’s technically our fifth record as a band.”

“We learned over the progression of those records our strong points in the studio, and we were confident,” adds drummer Chris Thompson, “We knew what we wanted and how to get what we wanted.”

Already in their career, the duo of Preston Brust and Chris Lucas have enjoyed hit singles, sold-out concert appearances here and abroad, and have tasted the top of the chart as two of Nashville’s quickest-rising songwriters. Recently signed to Reviver Records, the duo is joining forces with some of the biggest names on the Country Music business landscape. Brust says they could feel the team’s energy from the first meeting. “We haven’t felt an energy like this since the day we began our journey.
